It’s been awhile since I participated in Cee’s Oddball Photo Challenge. Here’s the last of the photos leftover from my trip to Puducherry.
This one is at the Chennai airport. You can see the reflection of the parking lot from where we caught our cab to Puducherry
A bright pink building right next to the hotel where we stayed.
A row of autorickshaws determined to outdo the Sun’s brightness
The bright truck caught my eye and it was only later that I notice the contrast provided by the ‘widowed’ tempo on the other side π
A lady riding a cycle wearing a sari – quite a rare sight
A tiger striped bench for the tired
A row of neatly lined chairs outside the cafe
After you are rested you may like to do a bit of memento shopping while you inhale Puducherry! Dont miss the massive tree in the backdrop.
A few moments to marvel at the wild flowers growing out of nowhere
Hmm…I found it odd that use lift should should be so inconspicuous…don’t you?
If that doesn’t get your attention, I don’t know what will!
That’s all from my collection – for now π
Do let me know your favorites and thank you for visiting π
For readers of Moonshine, here's Chapter 138

Why “Dahlia”?

Ahh Dahlia – my mother used to say if she had another daughter she would have named her Dahlia to rhyme with mine and my sister’s. And when I began writing I felt as if I was a different person – was that what you wanted to know?

Yes , and now I know I am not an alien. Thank you for sharing.

Hmm I will need some proof that you are not an alien…

Well I drink coffee , and for all the books I have read , aliens hate coffee , so that’s a plus.

I drink coffee but it makes me sleepy – must be another plus…

Wel if you add add around 4 teaspoon of sugar in your coffee , believe me , you will never ever sleep in your entire life.

I hadn’t thought the “use lift” to be inconspicuous until I showed this post to my son and he said someone could read it as “IN CASE OF FIRE DO NOT USE THE STAIRS”

Great post! How did you manage to take so many shots with so few people in them? I seem to remember India being extremely full of people! π

Oh yes it full of people but many are taken early morning or of stuff that nobody is interested in π But I do make an effort to exclude or crop out people! Thanks for visiting

Yeah, unnamed effort to exclude or crop out people from my life too. Fortunately some of them are compassionate enough to stay with me.

Okay- I have to ask. What is Puducherry?

Puducherry is an erstwhile French colony in the southern part of India. Appreciate your visit and interest π
