The theme for Cee’s this last week’s Black and White Challenge is was Lights. Without any further ado here are some selected shots from the Golden temple at Amritsar.
Baba Budha Jee, the first head priest of Harmandir Sahib, used to sit under this Ber (tree) about 125 years go and supervise the excavation of the Amrit Sarovar and construction of the Golden Temple. The tree is more than 500 years old. The lit up tower on the right looks remarkably like a face doesn’t it?
