Walking through a small town bazaar, we were drawn to this building

Here’s a close up

“Anybody can look at a pretty girl and see a pretty girl. An artist can look at a pretty girl and see the old woman she will become. A better artist can look at an old woman and see the pretty girl that she used to be. But a great artist-a master-and that is what Auguste Rodin was-can look at an old woman, portray her exactly as she is…and force the viewer to see the pretty girl she used to be…and more than that, he can make anyone with the sensitivity of an armadillo, or even you, see that this lovely young girl is still alive, not old and ugly at all, but simply imprisoned inside her ruined body.” ― Robert A. Heinlein
Hope over to Cee’s for more odd ball photos.

Thanks so much Miriam! I am touched and honored. If it’s okay with you I would like to pass it. But it does mean a lot that you thought of me. Thanks once again 🙂

You still could post the logo to say that you appreciate the nomination but regret that you have to decline. At least bloggers know that you are nominated. One blogger did, it’s just the idea!! 🙂

molto saggio ragionamento 🙂
l’edificio, con il tette erboso ( ultima moda degli architetti occidentali ! ) è molto interessante anche se mette addosso molta tristezza
le foto sono molto belle
grazie

Wow, that really is an ancient building. The nature has its amazing quality of finding its own way if left alone, and that is the best way for the forests to regenerate.
Such beautiful words for an artist 🙂

Yes – so very well put. After reading it, I could actually see the building as it must have been once. Thanks Svkuki
