For her latest black and white challenge, Cee wants us to focus on the Ground
A playground
A paved road on the campus
A view of the street in Kolkata
Stairway at the Rock Gardens Chandigarh
A bit of ground reality – Cellular Jail (aka Kala Pani or Death Waters) the colonial prison at Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India.
Baijnath (Lord Shiva) temple built around 1150 AD
And finally, some sound advice to keep your eyes on the ground 😉 😀
Thanks for your visit – look forward to your views and comments.
These are beautiful B&W photos!

What is it about the Black and white photos? I always find them more beautiful than the colored ones. There’s something in it… dunno how to name it, but B/W photos are my absolute favorite. Kolkata street looks amazing by the way. Do share more.

Yes there is something about BW photos. I had a theory that it has something to do with nostalgia but if you also like it, I guess I will have to rethink my theory 😀

I always found that they spoke a bit more than others, I just can’t explain but it feels BW has more intensity. To me, everything looks better in black and white.

Maybe I need to post some pics both in color and BW to get to the root of the matter 😀
