This week’s photo challenge is about showing something twisted. So let’s see how twisted one can get…
Twisted metal rods that dot the rural landscape
Fed up with the twisted eyesores, nature takes things into her hands – when you can’t beat them, join them!
“Just a single cord is enough to be tangled” ― Munia Khan
“The reality of the other person is not in what he reveals to you, but in what he cannot reveal to you. Therefore, if you would understand him, listen not to what he says but rather to what he does not say.” Khalil Gibran
Once upon a time, I lived my life in this ‘green room’. Only the bed is missing.
“Man struggles to find life outside himself, unaware that the life he is seeking is within him.” Khalil Gibran
“The snow and the storm destroy the flower; but its seed they cannot kill.” Khalil Gibran
“You may chain my hands, you may shackle my feet; you may even throw me into a dark prison; but you shall not enslave my thinking, because it is free!” Khalil Gibran
Nicely penned.

Interesting set of pictures. The transmission tower always reminded me of the ‘land ironclads’ from one of H.G.Wells’s short stories. Of course, nature is wonderful. It would even take us over if stood still long enough, like Rishi Valmikii who got covered in anthill while meditating. The Driftwood looks beautiful, Your Green Room must have been a great place to sit at the window and look at the trees outside, watching the wildlife around them.
After the great long weekend, the weather changed and we got the expected thunderstorm and flash floods. The dry garden got the water it needed. The birds are having a feast as the earthworms surfaced to escape the waterlogged ground.
Have a good night Dahlia.

Good morning Ferdi 🙂 I used to think of the transmission towers as rows of Ravan effigies waiting to be burnt 😀 The green room used to be my parents’ bedroom and except for being a ‘bit’ overgrown the place seems frozen in time – like the Sleeping beauty!
Happy for your soaking buzzing garden 🙂

So inspiring! “You may chain my hands, you may shackle my feet; you may even throw me into a dark prison; but you shall not enslave my thinking, because it is free!” (Gibran) You have a gift of true imagination, Dahlia!
