A Full Circle

Word 99

“Let’s go in.”

“We just came out.”

“It’s getting dark. You’ll catch a chill.”

“I won’t.”

“Mosquitoes are abuzz…”

“I don’t care.”

“I made soup.”

“What kind?”

“Tomato soup.”

“Did you put carrots in it?”

“Yes.”

“Ginger?”

“A little bit.”

“I don’t like ginger.”

“It’s good for your throat.”

“Cinnamon?”

“I forgot.”

“Then I don’t want any soup.”

“Oh please! I have had a long day…”

“Even I had a long day.”

“Doing what?”

“Waiting for you to take me out.”

“I’ll make croutons to go with the soup.”

“And you’ll spend the day with me tomorrow?”

“Yes Mom.”

For readers of Moonshine, here's Chapter 125 and for IPK fans and readers of SS here are two links under DM's Desk - Hook, Line and Sinker plus A Chip Off the Old Block - which I hope you will enjoy. Anyhow, do let me know your thoughts and reactions
