Just 4 Fun # 56

Hello! Didn’t the week just fly by? But of course it is festival season – Durga Puja Dusshera Diwali… Oh the list is too long and by the end of it my weighing scale would probably crash out 😦  πŸ˜‰

Wont

How true is that! But then again…

Flat

So anyone with a flat tummy and enjoying life – come on make yourself heard! Up next is a slideshow with a glimpse of a typical veggie market, particularly in small towns in India

Notice anything special about it? This is from a display in a Puja Pandal at Siliguri all made of clay, including the vegetables. Amazing isnt it?

Sabji

And now for something really fresh off the oven! Above is a vegetable instruction list handed by the lady of the house to her hubby as he went out to do some shopping πŸ˜€ Hilarious and educative – I too didnt know so much! And now the mystery about why women in India fast and pray for not only the long life of their husbands but also that they have the same husband in their next life as well. They have invested a lot into this one guy and who wants another novice in the next life πŸ˜€

In case anyone needs decoding : Methi : Fenugreek; Bhindi: Ladyfinger or okra; Mirchi: Green chilly; Palak: Indian spinach; Bhajiwala: Vegetable seller

Hope you found something that you enjoyed – none of which are mine by the way. I received all of them as forwards/shares and am just keeping the fun going.

Have a super week and don’t forget to have some fun as well πŸ™‚

And do let me know your favorite – or better still post your own and leave me a link I will be along in just a bit. Btw if you are in the mood for some more fun visit Pradita’s hilarious collection of silly questions πŸ˜€

  1. A great realistic tableau of the vegetable market. Loved the vegetable shopping list with extra instructions with illustrations. Asking for free chillies is so common. My friend never or hardly ever paid for chillies. Loved also your explanation why Indian women fast to get the same husband for next seven lives.
